There are so many online course authoring tools to help course creators make it easy to leverage the power of multimedia in their e-learning courses. In many learning management systems you can include graphics and illustrations, narration, music, or screencast tutorials and videos.

There’s a lot to know.

You don’t need to be a professional audio or video producer, or a graphic designer to build good e-learning. But it helps to know a little about these and how to get the best quality possible. Equity and inclusion has been incorporated by using the Universal Design for Learning framework, as it is important to provide access to multiple media for learners with a variety of needs. It also gives learners opportunities to develop their own formats and ranges of expression as our world becomes more media-rich.
